One Week Romantic Escape

Arrival at The Pearl of the Indian Ocean and warmly welcomed by Tamashi Lanka representative. Transfer to Haputale (184 km / 5 hr 30 min) and check in to your beautiful lodge. In the evening visit Adisham Bungalow (St. Benedict’s Monastery) and enjoy the calm Lake Richmond.

After breakfast, hike through lush tea plantations to Lipton’s Seat (3–4 hours), passing local tea pickers and stunning waterfalls. Enjoy breathtaking 360° panoramic views of surrounding hills and valleys.

Morning breakfast, then check out and drive to Tissamaharama (112 km / 2 hr 55 min). En route, stop at Diyaluma Waterfall for a natural pool bath. Evening walk around Tissa Wewa and visit Katharagama Kiri Vehera.

Optional half-day jeep safari in Yala National Park — home to leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. Rest at your resort and enjoy a romantic evening dinner.

Drive to Mirissa (119 km / 3 hr 9 min). Check in to a beach resort and enjoy the sandy beach with your partner. Optional walk along the beach or taste local street foods. Relax and unwind.

Early morning whale and dolphin safari (Nov–Apr). In the evening, visit Galle Old Dutch Fort, stilt fishing at Koggala, and a turtle hatchery at Mahamodara. Stroll around the World Heritage Galle Fort.

Morning beach walk and breakfast. Visit Coconut Hill Island and Parrot Rock before transfer to the airport for departure. Farewell to Sri Lanka until next time!
